“If I Had Only Known…” 💔 – On the evening of July 11, at Q2 Stadium in Austin, right on the banks of the Guadalupe River, a special memorial organized by the Grand Ole Opry in collaboration with local charities brought the whole of Texas to its knees. Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton sang “If I Had Only Known” together — and turned it into a quiet but painful farewell for the victims of the historic floods in the Hill Country. Midway through the performance, Reba suddenly choked up and hugged Kelly Clarkson on stage. In that moment, the lights dimmed — and thousands of people below fell silent in tears. Behind them, the LED screen slowly projected images of collapsed roofs, raging waters washing away everything, and Blake Shelton stood still, his hand on his chest, his eyes looking up to the sky, tears falling. It was no longer a performance.
