President Trump hosts faith and business leaders at White House to strengthen America spiritually and financially

President Donald Trump welcomed more than 60 CEOs and business leaders to the White House on Monday for a first-of-its-kind luncheon focused on promoting faith-based charitable work and supporting economic growth.

The event, held in the State Dining Room, was organized by the White House Faith Office. It brought together top executives from across industries who actively support faith-based initiatives both in the U.S. and abroad.

“President Trump is not only making America affordable, prosperous and strong again. He is making our country faith-centered again,” said Paula White, Senior Advisor to the White House Faith Office.

Bringing Faith and Economy Together

The luncheon highlighted President Trump’s belief that faith and economy go hand in hand in shaping the country’s future. Business leaders from companies such as Hobby Lobby, Jockey International, Quest Events, Aethon Energy, and Shoppa’s Material Handling were recognized for their philanthropic efforts through faith-based charities.

The president, joined by key members of his Cabinet including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler, delivered remarks thanking participants for their contributions.

According to White House officials, President Trump emphasized the importance of ongoing partnerships between the private sector and the Faith Office, especially in addressing:

  • Foster care and adoption
  • Fatherhood initiatives
  • Poverty alleviation
  • Substance abuse recovery
  • Prisoner reentry programs

“These are purpose-driven individuals who use their wealth for good in the Earth,” one official told Fox News Digital.
“Faith and Economy come together to Make America Great Again — spiritually and financially.”

The White House Faith Office: A Trump Administration Initiative

In February 2025, President Trump signed an executive order establishing the White House Faith Office as part of his second-term agenda. The office operates under the Domestic Policy Council and works directly with faith-based organizations, community groups, and houses of worship to better serve American families.

The Faith Office also consults with religious leaders and experts on policy changes to ensure alignment with what officials describe as “American values.”

“CEOs and business leaders who give back their time and treasure is what America is all about,” Paula White added.

White House sources noted this luncheon marks the first event of its kind, underscoring the Trump administration’s goal to blend spiritual priorities with economic leadership in a way that supports both communities and businesses.
