A woman in a supermarket is following a grandfather and his badly-behaved grandson.
The boy is screaming for sweets, biscuits, toys—everything in sight.
The grandfather is calm and says in a controlled voice,
“Easy, William, we won’t be long… Easy boy.”
Then the boy throws something out of the cart, and the grandfather says,
“It’s okay, William. Just a couple more minutes and we’ll be out of here. Hang in there, William.”
The woman is impressed by the man’s patience. As they get to the checkout line, the boy is still misbehaving, and the grandfather says again,
“William, relax buddy, don’t stress. We’ll be home soon.”
The woman finally approaches him and says,
“Sir, I just have to say—I admire your patience with little William.”
The grandfather replies,
“Oh, I’m William. The little monster’s name is Kevin.”
