“Brad Pitt Sparks Hollywood Frenzy—Demands Secret Access to Angelina Jolie’s Private Messages! Explosive Legal Twist Leaves Fans Reeling, Insiders Wonder: What Is Brad Really After? The Shocking Truth Behind Their Bitter Feud and What Jolie May Be Hiding Finally Exposed.”
According to American media, the actor born in 1963 has filed a request for the court to allow access to private messages between his ex-wife and Alexei Oliynik – a key figure in the Miraval share sale in 2021.
This legal move is said to be aimed at clarifying the agreements between Angelina and the Stoli Group – which bought her stake in the real estate that was once a common property.
In a filing filed with the Los Angeles court on June 30, Brad Pitt’s side identified Alexei Oliynik as Swiss, currently an employee under Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler – the owner of SPI Group, Stoli’s parent company. Brad believes that Oliynik is not merely an administrative employee but a central figure in negotiating and completing the acquisition of Château Miraval shares from Angelina Jolie. Therefore, the actor asked the court to force Oliynik to testify in the upcoming trial.
“He is an important link to help clarify the nature of the share sale. The exchanges between Angelina and Oliynik may reveal the motives, strategies and level of coordination between the parties involved,” Brad Pitt’s legal representative stated in the lawsuit. In addition to requesting the content of messages between Jolie and Oliynik, Brad also requested documents, emails and communications related to the Stoli Group during the negotiation of the sale.
However, the approach to Oliynik did not go smoothly. Brad Pitt’s lawyer said they have repeatedly tried to contact him and work with him to arrange for his testimony but have not received a positive response. Oliynik refused to cooperate, citing Swiss law that states that citizens of the country cannot be forced to testify at a California trial. But Brad countered that the current requirement is to hold testimony remotely, not to force Oliynik to leave Switzerland. They assert that the law cited does not apply in this case.
The judge has not yet made a final decision on the request to summon witnesses as well as whether Brad has access to the content of the messages between Jolie and Oliynik. Meanwhile, both Angelina Jolie, Stoli Group and Alexei Oliynik have not had any comments on the new development.
A source close to the lawsuit told Page Six that Brad Pitt’s legal action this time is not only aimed at Oliynik but also a reaction to the behavior of the entire Stoli Group during the proceedings. “Stoli has repeatedly sought to delay, evade or oppose the court’s requests for evidence. They did not follow the legal process,” this person said.
The Château Miraval dispute lawsuit between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has lasted from 2022 to now, stemming from Jolie quietly selling her shares to Stoli Group without notifying her ex-husband. Brad Pitt alleged that this action violated the tacit agreement between the two, which was made when they were living together that neither party would sell shares without the consent of the other party.
Château Miraval is not only a winery in France but also a place associated with many personal memories of the most powerful couple in Hollywood. Having bought the property in 2008 for about $28.4 million, the couple invested effort to develop the Miraval wine brand, in which Brad Pitt played a key operating role. Jolie, according to many sources, has no significant involvement in the business, but still owns 50% of the shares through his own company.
Brad Pitt accused his ex-wife of acting out of “revenge”, stemming from disagreements that have not been healed since the divorce in 2016. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie has repeatedly tried to link the property lawsuit to allegations related to Brad’s violent behavior with his children, which he has vehemently denied. The legal battle between them has long gone beyond the financial sphere, becoming a persistent psychological battle that neither of them wants to give in.
In May, the court rejected Angelina Jolie’s application to dismiss the lawsuit initiated by Brad Pitt, temporarily giving the actor an advantage. However, an official trial date has not yet been set. Legal experts say the lawsuit could drag on for several more years if an out-of-court agreement is not reached.
Currently, Brad Pitt is still in charge of operations at Château Miraval, while Stoli Group also claims to have executive rights through the acquisition of shares from Jolie. The situation of “two owners” in a business not only creates legal confusion but also causes this wine brand to be dragged into an unwanted media war.
Amid controversies over ownership, management and personal motives that continue to haunt the two stars, the Miraval lawsuit is becoming one of the best examples of the complexity and protracted post-divorce property disputes of superstars.
