A clerk at Wal-Mart provides a stunning performance of a classic song by Dolly Parton… Watch the video below…

We are accustomed to watching talented vocalists have their dreams come true as a result of their participation in reality competition shows such as The Voice, American Idol, and the other Got Talent series. On the other hand, not only people who are obviously looking for fame are being found and discovered. Even “the small guys” get a chance to feel the limelight in this day of smartphones and the internet, as all it sometimes takes is a video to go viral on the internet to bring attention to them.

Kayla Slone, who was 21 years old at the time, worked at a Walmart in the city of Logan in the state of West Virginia. However, at the time, not everyone was aware of the fact that in addition to being a fantastic pop voice, she is also an outstanding country vocalist.

Slone has a deep love for singing and a lifelong ambition to make it big at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. However, similar to many other people, she never genuinely imagined that her wish would come true. Slone is said to have collaborated with her brother on the production of a “homemade record” when she was 15 years old; however, ABC News reports that the CD was never released.

Slone was in the middle of her shift when she suddenly broke out into song right there in the cash register queue.

One of the customers made the decision to take out their phone and record the cashier’s spontaneous performance. Slone, who has a great country sound, did a rendition of “Coat of Many Colors,” a classic song first recorded by Dolly Parton in 1971.

Slone may be seen twiddling with a pen and wearing a name badge while she does so in the video. She has the voice of an angel, and while she gazes out the window, she sings the lyrics that tear at your heart.

Slone gave an unrehearsed and unplanned performance, and there was neither a microphone nor any other supplemental gear present. However, shortly after the video was published on the internet, it swiftly gained widespread attention.

“This girl has such a beautiful voice. In the same vein as Dolly Parton. This is a skill that was given to her by God, and I pray that she be recognized for it.

People started remembering the cashier from West Virginia and requesting her to sing all of a sudden when she was working in the store. Her husband worked in the coal mines.

In addition to this, Slone started giving interviews, such as the one she gave to ABC News. She was startled that her performance became such a big sensation, and she revealed her amazement during a recording session that took place in the Walmart where she worked. In addition, she disclosed to the news station that her lifelong ambition is to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.

Both of Slone’s performances are embedded down below for your viewing pleasure. Is it not fantastic that her performance in the checkout line led to her being invited to perform on the Grand Ole Opry’s main stage?
