John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s Love Story…How did it all start?…

When Teigen published two photographs of herself on Instagram in August 2022 showing off her growing baby belly, she also revealed that she and her husband are expecting their second child together.

This news comes only two years after Teigen broke the heartbreaking news that she had lost a pregnancy.

Teigen and Legend already have two children together, a daughter named Luna who is 6 years old and a son named Miles who is 4 years old.

The first time John Legend and Chrissy Teigen crossed paths was in 2006, when she appeared in the music video for John Legend’s song “Stereo.” The song was included on John Legend’s second studio album, which was titled “Once Again.”

In an interview Teigen discussed their previous meeting. She said that she was ashamed of the way that she behaved in the video footage.

She made a joke about the situation at the time, saying, “I was doing this false model-y dancing with the most lifeless eyes you’ve ever seen in a person. When I stepped into John’s dressing room to meet him, he was ironing his underpants in front of the mirror. I responded, ‘You do your own ironing!?’ The response he gave was, “Of course I do.”

After, their relations evolved, however, she did mention that they did not immediately start acting seriously toward one another.

“I kept a low profile for a considerable amount of time. Never once did it occur to me to wonder, “What are we?” Marriage was never my desire, since I’ve never been really conventional. Simply being in his presence made me joyful.”

After exchanging numbers and beginning to communicate to one other over the phone, Teigen and Legend’s connection developed into something much more significant.

John Legend quipped, “I fell in love with her over the phone because she is fantastic with those 140 characters. (At first), we were messaging a lot together, and it wasn’t long before I caught on to her dry sense of humor.

We would converse on the phone, and I began to develop feelings for her due to the fact that she is so interesting, clever, and humorous. And I believe it was when I really began to recognize that this was the type of person I wanted to be around a lot.

Once we began spending more time together in between tour stops and all of this other things, we discovered we had such a connection, and eventually it developed into a marriage and a kid, Now we are a happy married couple.”

While the two were on vacation in the Maldives in December 2011, the “All of Me” singer popped the question to Teigen.

Two years later, in 2013, during an interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter, Legend stated that his surprise proposal was nearly wrecked when airport security wanted to check through his carry-on luggage and search a box that he had the ring in.

Thank God, everything turned out just like it was supposed to.

Teigen explained her reaction to Oprah’s Next Chapter by saying, “I see the tiny box, and then you know, your heart stops, and you become so happy. “There was no major speech or anything else like that, my impression is that it was incredibly charming.”

Legend acknowledged that Teigen is the muse of “All of Me,” which has become an iconic love ballad and said that it was being considered for performance at their wedding, “She liked the song and sobbed when she heard it,” Legend stated.

In the end, Legend and Teigen decided to be married in a New York City courtroom in September 2013, the day before they were scheduled to travel out to Italy for their wedding at Lake Como.

On her Instagram account, Teigen shared photographs taken from the couple’s wedding, which took place at a home near Lake Como.
