Amid rumors of her split from husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez has canceled her upcoming tour, according to TMZ. The tour promoter Live Nation stated that Lopez is “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.” The tour was meant to start in mid-June to promote her latest album, This Is Me…Now, released in February.
Lopez shared her feelings with fans in her newsletter, On The JLo: “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time.”
Despite rumors of poor ticket sales, a source informed the Daily Mail that this did not influence her decision. However, Lopez had previously canceled seven dates in March, according to Variety.
Ticketmaster will automatically refund fans who bought tickets through their website. Those who purchased from third-party sites need to contact the place of purchase for more information.
Lopez and Affleck, known as Bennifer, have reportedly been living apart despite tying the knot in 2022 after reuniting nearly 20 years after their initial romance.
