Christina Sandera, Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner, passed away recently at 61. They began dating in 2014 after meeting at Clint’s restaurant, Mission Ranch, in Carmel-by-the-Sea, where Sandera worked as a hostess.
Clint’s son, Clancy Eastwood, stated, “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.” According to a Warner Bros. representative, Clint will not release more information about her death as he grieves privately.
Christina and Clint shared a deep connection over their ten years together despite a significant age difference. She attended various events with Clint, including the 2015 Oscars and the Cannes Film Festival in 2017, but she often stayed out of the spotlight. Her social media accounts were private, and she never publicly discussed their relationship. Clint once mentioned, “I can protect myself, but they can’t,” referring to the need for privacy.
Clint Eastwood has a large family with eight children from previous relationships. His youngest daughter, Morgan, recently got married. Clint, who turned 94 on May 31, is currently working on his latest project, Criterion No. 2, which is in post-production. This will be his 40th movie as a director, following his 2021 film Cry Macho.
Though their relationship was mostly private, Christina’s presence was a significant part of Clint’s life, and her loss is deeply felt by those who knew her.
