Rihanna was in the middle of her morning workout, doing some squats and lunges in her home gym, when she heard a loud thud from upstairs.
She paused and listened, hoping that it was nothing serious. She heard another thud, followed by a giggle and a cry of “Mommy!” She smiled and shook her head, knowing that it was her son, Jamal, who had just woken up and was looking for her.
She grabbed a towel and a bottle of water, and headed upstairs to check on him. She found him in his bedroom, jumping on his bed and holding his favorite stuffed lion.
He saw her and ran towards her, wrapping his arms around her legs. “Mommy, mommy, I missed you!” he exclaimed, looking up at her with his big brown eyes.
Rihanna bent down and hugged him back, kissing his cheek. “I missed you too, baby. How did you sleep?” she asked, lifting him up and carrying him to his bed.

When is he coming back?” Jamal asked, cuddling with his lion. “He’ll be back soon, don’t worry. He loves you very much, and he’ll call you later,” she said, reassuring him. “Okay. I love him too.
And I love you, mommy. You’re the best too,” he said, smiling. “Thank you, sweetheart. I love you more than anything,” she said, smiling back. She decided to skip the rest of her workout and spend some quality time with her son.
She read him a story, played some games, and made him breakfast. She felt happy and blessed, knowing that her son was the most precious gift in her life.
