Watch: Angry Mom Dons Drag Costume, Blasts School Board For Allowing “Unauthorized” Show

An angry mom in Iowa recently went to extremes to make a point. After the local high school held an unauthorized drag show featuring two 21-year-old men provocatively dressed as women and performing inappropriately in front of underage students, the bold mom took to extremes to get her message heard.

The performance at Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa, was organized by the Gay Straight Alliance Club and took place on May 23rd, 2022. It featured two men in tight leotards performing a strip tease type of performance in front of high school kids. While this is bad enough on its face, to make matters worse, the performance wasn’t authorized by the school.

After the video of the event went viral, and the inevitable public outcry followed, instead of apologizing and vowing to get to the bottom of how the whole event transpired, the school board instead got defensive and complained to the liberal media about alleged “threats of violence.”

Since it was clear nothing was going to be done by the school board, Kimberly Reicks decided to take matters into her own hands. Reicks, the founder of the activist groups Iowa Mama Bears and another group called Freedom Over Fear, appeared before the Ankeny school board and drove her point home in a very creative manner.

Reicks began her remarks by outlining why she was there: “You have employees that have flat-out violated several of your own policies, included but not limited to: dress code, misuse of public property, inappropriate interactions with students, and several security violations.“

“I mean, I can not even enter a school to help with a classroom party, or have lunch with my kids, without a full background check. So please explain to me how this 21 year old man — dressed the way he was — was allowed into our school.“

It was at that point that Reicks removed her sweatpants and revealed an outfit similar to what the performer in question was wearing. She then turned to the attendees and said : “I want to know: Does this outfit make you turn your head? Is this outfit appropriate for anybody here to see? Because if this makes your head turn, if this p—-s you off, then it should. Because this guy walked into our school, wearing exactly the same thing.”

Reicks also held a handmade poster with photos from the performance reading : “Is it appropriate for an exotic dancer to seduce the children in our public schools?”

The angry mom went on to ask the board for an apology and a resolution to ensure such an event never takes place again. Despite the media firestorm surrounding the inappropriate event and Reick’s subsequent impassioned speech, the board, in fact, did an investigation, determining the two employees that were responsible. In the end, no one was fired, disciplined, or reprimanded. The board refused to discuss the findings, citing privacy.

Reick’s extreme stunt helped bring attention to a growing problem; children being sexualized in schools. Hopefully, her work, as well as work by groups like Libs of TikTok, can continue to shine a light on the grooming and sexualization of children by the far left.
