One couple made others reminisce when they attracted attention with their dance moves to a well-known American soul band’s famous song.
Sophie Allaf and Thomas Audon, a French pair, started dancing together in 2018. However, they developed a love for dancing at a young age, which accounts for the fact that they always seem to move with ease when they dance.
For example, Allaf began studying dance when she reached 5 years old. Audon, on the other hand, began learning ballroom dancing at the age of 7, which is a remarkable accomplishment. Not to mention that he was already proficient in acrobatic rock ‘n’ roll.
They were recognized as champions in boogie-woogie not once, not twice, but four times, as if the talent they display in their dancing videos weren’t enough to convince everyone of their talent. The two have won the title of world champions twice, yet they still maintain their modesty.
Along with participating in numerous international contests, they also use their abilities by instructing others and passing on their expertise.
They created a YouTube channel to reach a bigger audience. They may now readily teach others to dance in the comfort of their own homes as well as flaunt their own moves. It’s also open to everyone.
They won many fans’ hearts in June 2021 when they performed a dance cover of the song “Do You Love Me,” which is a 1962 classic by The Contours. It’s hardly surprising that so many people are familiar with the song given that it has twice been on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A tremendous accomplishment for artists back then, it sold 1 million copies when it was first released. The song then enjoyed success once more in 1988.
The tune, which Allaf and Audon used to record their dance routine in their living room, got people thinking back on their past experiences.
The video has already received 4.7 million views on the platform as of this writing.
The majority of individuals who commented on the video stated they enjoyed it so much and couldn’t stop grinning as they watched the couple dance.
“At the time this song came out, I was 76, and it was one of my favorites. I’m really happy that this couple came up with a routine to dance it. We SENIORS could learn how to do that in my Senior apartment exercise class because it is so simple. It would be a lot of fun, too. Thank you, you guys made my day. That man moves SO CLEANLY! I really like it,” one guy said.
“This 70-year-old woman had a headache and couldn’t sleep in the middle of the night, but now I find myself grinning from ear to ear. I adore how both of you move so well. Thank you!” said a different person.
