Sophia Hutchins, a longtime friend and business manager to Caitlyn Jenner, has tragically passed away at the age of 29 following an ATV accident in Malibu, California.
A Fatal Crash in Malibu
According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, the accident happened Wednesday morning. Hutchins was riding her ATV on a road near Jenner’s home when she struck the bumper of a moving car. The collision sent both Hutchins and her ATV over the shoulder, plunging approximately 350 feet down into a ravine.
First responders pronounced Hutchins dead at the scene. The two individuals in the car involved were not injured. It is unknown if Caitlyn Jenner was home at the time of the incident.
From Friendship to Business Partnership
Hutchins and Jenner first met in 2015, shortly after Jenner’s public transition. Their relationship grew from personal friendship into a professional partnership.
Hutchins appeared on several episodes of the E! docuseries I Am Cait and eventually became Jenner’s manager, overseeing her business ventures and public engagements.
