The racing legend turned political firebrand marked Independence Day with fireworks, pool time—and a message of gratitude.
Back in Red, White, and Blue
Danica Patrick brought the heat to the Fourth of July, showing off her toned figure and symbolic back tattoo at a family pool party over the weekend. Wearing a red bikini, the retired IndyCar star proudly displayed her American flag tattoo, a personal tribute inked after returning from three years abroad in the U.K.
“I got that American / checkered flag tattoo… because I was proud and grateful to be home,” Patrick explained in a patriotic Instagram caption. “Thank you to those who make [us] safe and free.”
Family, Fireworks, and Some Fairway Fun
The 43-year-old spent the day surrounded by her loved ones—her mom Bev, dad TJ, sister Brooke, and a crowd of nieces and nephews. After a day of poolside laughs and sunshine, the family wrapped the night with a fireworks show under the stars.
Patrick also hit the golf course over the holiday weekend, teeing off with her sister Brooke, brother-in-law Chase, and their father in what she described as the “perfect July 4th combo.”
A Voice for Trump
While Patrick may have stepped back from racing, she hasn’t backed away from the national stage. A vocal supporter of Donald Trump, she spent much of 2023 and 2024 campaigning alongside him, including a notable appearance aboard Air Force One.
“I asked @realdonaldtrump what the most important quality of being in office was,” she recalled on Instagram. “And he said… courage.”
Even after Trump’s controversial airstrike on Iran last month, Patrick defended the decision, posting a photo of herself driving a speedboat under the U.S. flag with the caption: “Thank you to all that keep America safe and strong.”
Still in the Fast Lane
From firework displays to golf swings to political loyalty, Danica Patrick isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Whether on the campaign trail or poolside with her family, she’s staying true to her roots: fast, fierce, and unapologetically patriotic.
