Blake Lively and Drew Barrymore are two of the most prominent actresses working in Hollywood. As a result, speculation and curiosity about whether they have met and become friends have emerged online. The former is known for her roles in projects like Gossip Girl and A Simple Favor. Meanwhile, the latter has garnered attention for her performances in films like 50 First Dates and for hosting her eponymous daytime talk show.

Is Blake Lively friends with Drew Barrymore?
It’s unknown if Blake Lively and Drew Barrymore share a strong friendship. This is because there’s not much information available suggesting the same. However, the two actresses seem to acknowledge each other.
Barrymore, through both her personal and The Drew Barrymore Show accounts, follows Lively on Instagram. However, Lively doesn’t seem to be following the actress back.
The 50 First Dates actress once tried a new drink — sparkling grapefruit — from the Gossip Girl alum’s soda brand, Betty Buzz, in a 2021 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. In the episode, Barrymore also admired a Betty Buzz campaign picture of Lively, saying that the actress was “beautiful inside and out.” Barrymore also revealed that Lively had sent a note to her along with the drink, expressing momentary excitement about it.
At the end of the episode, Barrymore called Lively “awesome” and thanked her for sending the drink. She also encouraged viewers to go and buy it.
But it seems Lively has not yet said anything about Barrymore in interviews.
In April 2025, TikTok user @butterfaces acted out a hypothetical scenario, wherein Blake Lively appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show. In the video, two users imitated Barrymore and Lively, parodying the actresses’ speaking styles. The user imitating Barrymore also referenced her tendency to get slightly touchy with guests on her talk show.
While the two do not particularly appear to be friends, they seem to interact and acknowledge each other as part of their professional lives.
