Travis Kelce’s loving take on his relationship with Taylor Swift – Compares it to this 90s movie

From Tight End University to rom-com royalty? Travis Kelce isn’t shy about poking fun at his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift. And this time, he’s comparing their love story to a ‘90s classic.

Pretty Woman… or Pretty Man?

During the July 23 episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis and brother Jason Kelce took a hilarious detour from football talk to review the 1990 film Pretty Woman. The brothers praised the iconic Julia Roberts–Richard Gere romance, but hit a snag when trying to score the movie on feminism.

That’s when Travis flipped the script.

“I think we need to make Pretty Man,” he laughed. “A CEO billionaire woman who doesn’t know where she’s going, doesn’t know how to drive a car…”

Jason didn’t miss a beat, teasing his younger brother:

“Travis, you’re living Pretty Man right now. You’re living your own Julia Roberts life.”

The Kansas City Chiefs star cracked up, then leaned into the bit.

“I’m wearing nothing but a tie when Taylor comes home,” he joked. “Just an NFL hooker, man.”

A Full-Circle Moment With Julia Roberts

As it turns out, Travis isn’t just referencing rom-coms for laughs. He recently met Julia Roberts in person at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Dublin and called the moment surreal.

“That’s why when I met Julia, it felt like we were the same person,” he said. “She spoke to me in this movie.”

Their shared appreciation of Pretty Woman even dates back to a June episode of New Heights, when Travis revealed it had been on his and Taylor’s movie night list “for a while.”

Movie Nights, Music Cameos, and NFL Prep

While Taylor and Travis have spent recent weeks enjoying quiet dinners in Florida and NYC, they’ve also had their share of spotlight moments.

Swift made a surprise appearance at Kelce’s Tight End University in June, performing on stage with Kane Brown and leaving the NFL crowd stunned.

“She rocked the stage yet again,” Travis beamed. “She’s so good with everybody, just making people feel comfortable.”

Real-Life Romance, Rom-Com Energy

As the NFL preseason approaches, the Super Bowl champ and pop megastar are balancing big careers and a growing relationship — complete with movie nights, stage cameos, and now, rom-com jokes.

One thing’s for sure: if there’s ever a Pretty Man reboot, Travis Kelce has already nailed the audition.
