The country music singer Scotty McCreery has assembled some of the genre’s most talented musicians for a special cover of the song “Angels Among Us…”

The American band Alabama was the one who came up with the original version of “Angels Among Us.” The band saw a surge in popularity in the 1980s, thanks in large part to the success of their songs “Love in the First Degree,” “Mountain Music,” and “Dixieland Delight.”

In the course of their career, Alabama went from being a band playing in bars to being a group that defined a whole musical subgenre. They are celebrated for their blend of country rock with elements of bluegrass, folk, and gospel music.

Before they broke up in 2004, they had already recorded hundreds of albums.

The band disbanded in the 1990s but got back together in 2010 and immediately resumed their touring and recording careers. Alabama was honored with induction into the Musicians Hall of Fame this year (2019).

As a result of the band’s popularity, they gained a reputation for being charitable in addition to maintaining a fan-focused attitude throughout their career.

They often collaborated with neighborhood charitable organizations in order to not only call attention to significant problems but also to generate cash and awareness for them at the same time.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee was often one of the recipients of financial assistance from the state of Alabama.

The treatment of young children who have been diagnosed with extremely devastating illnesses, such as leukemia or other malignancies, is the primary emphasis of the non-profit organization, which was established in 1962.

Because of the message that the song conveys, it is often selected for use at Christmas recordings and charitable events.

In 2017, a number of country music’s most well-known artists gave the song a fresh interpretation, most notably giving it a new lease of life.

As well as being for a charitable purpose, the song included well-known musicians like as Carly Pearce, Hunter Hayes, Brennley Brown, CB30, Jillian Jacqueline, Lucy Hale, RaeLynn, Sara Evans, Scotty McCreery, Tegan Marie, and Temecula Road.

The rendition of “Angels Among Us” was broadcast on Radio Disney with a special message to listeners asking for their assistance in raising awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research.

According to the description of the video, it was an enormous success, and as a result of the song’s widespread

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was able to make a significant advance in the battle against children cancer because to the selflessness of these incredible vocalists as well as their partnership with Radio Disney.
