Cynthia, a 42-year-old single mother of two, moved into a new house with a lovely garden, hoping for a fresh start. However, her new beginning turned into a nightmare when her neighbor, Mr. Johnson, decided to build a garage on her property.
On their first meeting, Mr. Johnson informed Cynthia of his plans. “I’ve got plans to build a garage, and half of it will be on your land. The previous owner agreed.” Cynthia was firm in her response: “I’m the new owner, and I don’t give my consent.” Despite her refusal, Mr. Johnson went ahead with his construction. When Cynthia returned from a weekend visit to her mother, she was shocked to find a fully built garage occupying part of her garden.
Determined to reclaim her property, Cynthia decided to take matters into her own hands. She enlisted the help of her friends, Lisa, Mark, and Jess, to dismantle the garage. “Start with the roof,” Mark suggested as they worked methodically through the night, prying off shingles and carefully deconstructing the structure. By dawn, the garage was reduced to a pile of neatly stacked rubble.
The next morning, an angry Mr. Johnson confronted Cynthia, but she calmly pointed out, “You built on my land without permission.” Realizing his mistake, Mr. Johnson apologized and agreed to rebuild the garage entirely on his property. He even offered to help with repairs around Cynthia’s house.
