Kid Rock has ended his professional relationship with singer Sheryl Crow, canceling six already-scheduled tour dates for 2024.
While he hasn’t made an official statement, Kid Rock did tell his spokesman, Joe Barron, to let the world know that it has everything to do with her harsh words about Jason Aldean.
“Jason Aldean is a good man,” said Barron, “and Kid wants everyone to know it. Jason gives to charity and does lots of other really good things.”
Sheryl Crow was unavailable for comment, but her record label, Latherland, said she can’t support a racist, and she doesn’t care if Kid Rock likes it or not. Apparently, she hasn’t heard what happens to people and companies that go woke.
“She’s going to lose everything,” said ALLOD Correspondent Skip Tetheludah, “because that’s just good story-telling. When your goal is to reach the impish, you have to be almost so predictable that anyone with an IQ over 80 has, at least, some skepticism. The rest…well…that’s your audience.”
Tetheludah says he believes Sheryl Crow will likely be a short-term success because it’s been a bit long in the news cycle. “If anything can revive a dead topic,” he chuckled, “it’s the addition of Kid Rock. You might as well fly over rural America and drop little bags of meth.”
Skip was born and raised in Hudson, New Hampshire and worked at the amusement park until he was 30, so we’re gonna defer to his wisdom on small towns.
