Groomsmen Dance for Bride, But Groom’s Little Brother Steals the Show

In the past, dance was used as a way to show respect and honor to the newly married couple. This could mean a dance between the bride and groom, or a dance that included the entire wedding party. The dance could also be a way of expressing joy, happiness and love to those who attended the wedding. In some cultures, specific dances were performed to ward off evil spirits or to thank the gods for their blessings.

Today, traditional or not, people love dancing at weddings. And in the age of social media, choreographed group dances are the rage. Well here’s one with a little twist that I think you’re going to like.

The groomsmen at this wedding pull the bride to a chair to watch, then begin a nicely-done group dance to Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk.” But when the song switches to Michael Jackson’s “Billy Jean,” the grooms little brother dons his hat and hits the stage. And little brother knocks everyone’s socks off with his moonwalk and imitation of MJ. And the groom and his wedding party don’t do so bad, either!
