1000-lb Sisters’ star Tammy Slaton gives update on her relationship status after death of husband

Tammy Slaton, star of the hit reality show 1000-lb Sisters, has recently confirmed her relationship status following the tragic passing of her estranged husband, Caleb Willingham, earlier this year.

The heartbreaking news of Caleb’s death was first announced at the start of July, when his younger brother took to Facebook to share the sad update. Tammy later confirmed the tragic loss, leaving her fans and followers devastated.

However, it appears that the 37-year-old reality star is slowly moving forward with her life. Tammy recently took to TikTok to participate in a new filter trend that revealed her supposed Christmas soulmate. In the short video clip, viewers witnessed a lighter side of Tammy as she engaged with the trend.

As the filter worked its magic, Tammy playfully gazed into the camera, anticipating the revelation of her Christmas soulmate. To everyone’s surprise, the filter indicated that her partner would be a co-worker who would share her love for cookies and cream treats, and this would transpire next year.

Tammy humorously captioned the post with, “Hell naw never I’d never be with a co-worker because my coworkers are my family lol but fr single life.” Her light-hearted response to the filter garnered the attention of fans, but it was her transformation that truly stole the show.

In the video, Tammy showcased a healthier and happier version of herself. Wearing a festive red jumper, she displayed her impressive weight loss journey. Fans flooded the comments section with compliments, praising her slimmer figure and overall improved well-being. “Tammy you look great,” one fan expressed, while another commented on her looking “a lot healthier.” Someone else hailed her as “so inspirational.”

This holiday season marks the first Christmas that Tammy will spend without her late husband, whom she married just last winter. Caleb and Tammy’s love story began when they met at a food rehabilitation center, quickly falling in love and formalizing their relationship through marriage. However, their union faced challenges, and five months later, news of their separation surfaced.

Despite their estrangement at the time of Caleb’s passing, Tammy took to her Instagram to share previously unseen pictures of the couple.

In the caption, she wrote, “Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness.”

Speaking to People Magazine, Tammy expressed her devastation and deep affection for Caleb, stating, “When I met Caleb, he became my guardian angel, and now he really is watching over me.”
