Not all people have a noble heart. That is why some can throw any family member out on the street without caring what their end will be, ensuring that it is the best for everyone.
This humble grandfather took long walks under the inclement sun to find plastic bottles in the trash cans, but luck was on his side, and a miracle happened.
The now-popular don Felipe Reyes experienced one of the most wonderful moments of his life after unexpectedly receiving the support, care, and unconditional love of a beautiful family that asked for nothing in return.
Benita Dearz recounts: «I was driving my car through the city of Torreón, when suddenly I ran into this sweet grandfather, there was a lot of sun and I saw that it was a bit difficult for him to walk, so I did not think about it too much and I parked, he I asked him to come closer, I offered him water and invited him to get in the car”.
” For a long time we were talking and his story tore my heart, despite being over 100 years old, he lived in a very deplorable way, in a square in the area.”
Unfortunately, the 11 children that Don Felipe has from 3 different marriages decided to throw him out of his own house so that he would not be another burden for them.
Don Felipe collected the bottles to sell later so he could pay for one daily meal. Benita couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Hence, she took her grandfather home; the man bathed and changed, got him clean clothes, and prepared a family dinner where everyone could share some time with Don Felipe. Everyone was fascinated with the stories and countless anecdotes of the tender grandfather.
Benita decided to post some photos on one of her social networks. It only took a few seconds for it to go viral, immediately millions of people decided to help the humble grandfather and began to send food, clothes, shoes, and money so that from now on, Don Felipe I had a dignified life, without worries and surrounded by people with a big heart.
Like Don Felipe’s story, millions are on our streets. Our elderly need good deeds, people with big hearts willing to help the unprotected elderly on the streets.
