Sisters melt hearts singing ‘Say Something’

There are some songs that will always pull on your heartstrings. It might be your favorite song or a song you had never heard of, but it will give you all the emotions when it is on. One of those songs is “Say Something,” by Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. The only way to make the song even more emotional is to have the two cutest girls make their own cover.

That is exactly what sisters, Vivienne and Sophie Fatu, did.

Sophie and her beautiful voice are no stranger to the spotlight.

Sophie might already look familiar to many people, that is because she was a contestant on America’s Got Talent in 2018. She has also made a singing appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018. This time Sophie is not going to sing on her own, instead, she shares the stage with her sister.

Ellen DeGeneres only had great comments about Sophie. Such as,

“Sophie is adorable at a professional level. You will not believe this little girl.”

We cannot believe this little girl either.

Since her time on America’s Got Talent, Sophie has been staying busy.

Her official website states, “Sophie Fatu’s videos of her singing Sinatra Classics like “Fly Me to the Moon” and “My Way” have amassed 150 million views and counting. Her rendition of these classics has received high praise for her uncanny ability to sing jazz music and demonstrate timing, pitch, rhythm, personality and meter…”

The sisters are dressed and have their hair done so adorable for the video that it is cuteness overload from the very start. Yet, once Sophie starts singing it becomes even more adorable, if that is even possible. Sophie is still so young she is missing her two front teeth. This does not make any difference with her voice, she is still singing like a pro.

It does not take long for Vivienne to start singing. Their voices are very different from each other, and gorgeous in their own unique way. Once they start singing together their voices harmonize beautifully. The voices on these two sisters are a perfect fit.

Their musical talent must be running through their DNA.

Their singing is only backed by the piano, which creates a more somber approach to the already emotional song. The original version of the song “Say Something” was originally sung by Christina Aguilera and those are big shoes to fill. The sisters do not seem worried about that at all and sing the song with beautiful ease.

The natural talent of these sisters makes them ready for stardom, just like Christina Aguilera.

The song is about pure emotion about the end of a relationship. For these two girls to be able to sing this song with the emotion it needs is stunning, especially since they are far from experiencing that specific emotion. The lyrics include,

“You’re the one that I love

And I’m saying goodbye

Say something, I’m giving up on you

And I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you

And anywhere, I would have followed you

Oh, oh, oh, oh say something, I’m giving up on you”
