Evans and Baptista both follow each other on Instagram, but they have not yet posted any images of themselves together on their own accounts. According to an article published by Cosmopolitan, followers began to speculate that the two were romantically engaged many weeks ago when Baptista’s mother used a photo of the same pumpkins that Evans had put on his Instagram account as her profile picture on her own Instagram account.
Evans has also liked all the Instagrams Baptista has posted since Oct. 13, dedicated boyfriend behavior, along with her post from July 15 and Aug. 24, 2021.
Evans spoke to People for its Sexiest Man issue about how he wants to settle down with the right person. “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family,” Evans said. “When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
“So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important,” he added. “I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that—I can’t think of anything better.”
