Many people wish to have long hair. Long locks, on the other hand, are a nightmare for some.
Sandy, 73, from Boston, Massachusetts, is one example.
She had grown her hair past her shoulders, but instead of proudly letting it flow, she despised it!
Sandy, like many others her age, was unhappy with her appearance and was looking for a little more “oomph” in the beauty department.
Fortunately, she was in the right place the moment she sat in The Makeover Guy’s salon chair.
They say “age is just a number” and “you’re only as old as you feel.”
Sandy, like many others, does not believe her true age accurately reflects how she feels on the inside.
Despite being in her 70s, she felt like she was only in her 40s.
But, as she always did, Mother Nature had crept up on Sandy as well.
The east coast resident saw tiredness in the mirror and needed assistance in regaining some of her youth.
She admitted:
“I’m getting a little tired as I get older, so I just need a little oomph.”
One of the most aggravating aspects of aging is that hair thins and becomes more difficult to grow.
Tsippora Shainhouse, a dermatologist and USC Clinical Instructor, explained to Women’s Health:
“As we age, our hair loses density and the individual hair strands become thinner… The hairs produced become finer and finer until the follicle eventually stops producing new hairs.”
Sandy’s hair was the longest it had ever been.
Some might think she was overjoyed, but she wasn’t.
She despised it and wished it were gone!
It’s no surprise she turned to The Makeover Guy.

When her new look is revealed, you’ll think she’s been replaced by someone completely different.
Sandy’s bouncy hair not only makes her look younger, but she’s also more vibrant, happy, and completely transformed both inside and out.
Sandy extols her “terrific” feelings.
She feels so good that she wants to go out on the town. She states:
“I might have to approach some guy. “Who wants to go dancing?”
