This year for Christmas, the Rise Up Children’s Choir is performing a “Breath of Heaven/Mary Did You Know” Mashup, and it is simply not something you want to miss!

All of the members of this group first became acquainted with one another while performing with the Rise Up Children’s Choir and Amplify. Ever since then, they have enjoyed sharing their passion of singing with one another in this band.

In the beginning of the video, they can be seen performing the song “Breath of Heaven.”

This traditional Christmas carol recounts the birth of Jesus from Mary’s point of view. Chris Eaton was the one who first penned the stirring tune. And when Amy Grant first heard it, she decided that she wanted to record the track for her Christmas album, but that she wanted to rewrite the lines to make them more personal.

The young people featured in this video do an incredible job singing this song, and immediately thereafter, they transition into singing the well-known Christmas carol “Mary, Did You Know?”

Mark Lowry, who wrote them in 1984, is credited with writing the words to this lovely Christmas song, while Buddy Greene is credited with writing the music in 1991.

This unique rendition of ‘Mary Did You Know’ has the performers making a fantastic sound together, and their harmonies are really stunning throughout the film. The arrangement of the song is really stunning in every single way.
